Skyfields is a “LEAVE NO TRACE” event. If anything, we ask you to only LEAVE THIS PLACE MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN YOU FOUND IT.

That means that you please use the rubbish bins provided on site or take your trash out with you and help us leave the venue better then when you arrived. This isn’t the kind of event where you trash the place and rely on Skyfields staff to pick it up for you.

Skyfields tries to create awareness and encourage people to take care of the communities that they live in and the planet they live on.

Everything you ever throw away in your life has to go somewhere, and why would you want that place to be the luscious paradise that is our beautiful event site?! Large skips will be available on site for your trash bags, however we recommend that you make every effort to create as little rubbish as possible – crush down your cans, take items out of their wrappers before bringing to the festival, and most importantly.

Be the beautiful mature humans that you are and do everything within your power to clean up after yourself and others before you leave the event. We know your tired, probably sunburnt and in desperate need of a shower and a good old fashioned post party nose blowing extravaganza – but that’s no excuse!

First Aid officers will be present at the event, the location will be marked on the site map.  If first aid is required by any person, please speak with the nearest event staff or security who will immediately notify them.

Please be prepared by bringing your important medications including those used for asthma.  If you are experiencing difficulty we urge you to present to First Aid early.

You may bring your own snack food but note that alcohol, cans, glass and metal cutlery are prohibited.

There will also be a wide variety of food – including options for various dietary requirements including vegetarian/vegan and gluten free food - available for purchase throughout the venue from the time that gates open until after the concert finishes.

A selection of local wines, premium beers, ciders and ready-to-drink spirits will be available for purchase at all bar locations. Due to liquor licensing, limits apply to the amount of drinks purchased per person. These restrictions may be altered by police throughout the event.

- No cans

- No glass

Drink responsibly. Intoxicated people will not be served alcohol and any anti-social behavior will NOT be tolerated. Persons found to be causing problems will be evicted from the venue.

Due to licensing regulations, BYO alcohol is not permitted.  Patron bags will be searched upon entry to the event and any alcohol will be confiscated. Any patrons found with contraband alcohol within the venue may be evicted.

We take the safety of patrons very seriously. If you’re intoxicated you will not be permitted to leave the venue by foot.

Rule #1 – be conscious of your safety and the safety of your friends, and others around you.

Think about how your actions could affect your own day, the experience of your friends and those organizing the event. If you see someone who may be in danger, either to others or themselves, please notify the medical, security or event staff immediately. Do not do anything that could ever put yourself or anyone else in danger, and look after your mates!

Also be sure to follow the below golden rules:

ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES ALLOWED ON SITE WHATSOEVER. That means: no candles, fire toys, camp fires, tiki lanterns, gas lanterns, camp stoves, or other naked flames whatsoever. March is high‐risk fire season Australia‐wide, and a total fire ban may be in place on site for the safety of all patrons and the safety of the host property. Any person found to be in breach of a total fire ban will be issued a citation and may be ejected from the festival site.

ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS ALLOWED ON SITE WHATSOEVER. Broken glass isn’t fun for anyone and glass is a lot harder to dispose of than plastics and cans. All bags will be searched thoroughly for glass items upon entry to the festival, and any found items will be confiscated permanently.
