Hobart Repertory Theatre Society presents

Playing the Palace

A fun-filled musical for the whole family to enjoy.

Everybody wanted to play the Palace. It represented glamour and excitement and was home to the greatest talent of its day. But lean times have forced its closure and it is now due to be demolished in the name of progress.

Enter Rosie O’Grady, a bright young actress determined to save the Palace by putting on a show to celebrate its glorious history. Join Rosie, as she is backed up by her friends and some surprise guests (ghosts) from the past, in her quest to save the Palace.

Featuring well-known songs such as Give My Regards to Broadway, Shine on Harvest Moon, Goodbye My Lady Love, and Oh You Beautiful Doll, this show will have you tapping your feet and singing along.
